Update: Kidnapped Ondo Party Ward Chairman Released After Paying A Ransom Of N2.5M


Recall that James Tolorunju Ajulo, the factional ward chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, who was kidnapped in front of his residence in Ibaka quarters of Akungba Akoko on Sunday 5th January, 2020 has been released after paying a ransom of Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N2.5M).

Tolorunju was released on Wednesday evening, the 8th of January, 2020 by his abductors after three days in the kidnappers Dane.

The information about his release was confirmed to our correspondent, said the victim has regain his freedom in Ado Ekiti. Yes, Ajulo has just been released to us, after series of negotiations with the kidnappers.

Bamidele a colleague to Ajulo, he said; it is true and I have just spoken with him. So, I have advised him to go have some rest. At least, by the time he is fine, he can be able to tell me more story on his experience. He  confirmed this to our correspondent  via his twitter handle one Wednesday.
