Abducted Mother Of NAHC Chairman In Ondo Freed After 10 Days In Captivity


Mr. Sehinde Fadeni, the mother of the Chairman of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, who was abducted in Ondo State by unknown gunmen, have receive her freedom.

She was set free from captivity on Thursday 6th February, 2020 in Ore under Odigbo Local Council Area of the state after 10 days in the custody of the bandits.

She was abducted at her residence in Ode Aye town in Okitipupa on 28 January, 2020 and was taken to an unknown destination in a private vehicle.

Validating her release, a source said, “She looked very weak by the time I got to the hospital in Ore where she is presently receiving treatment.

Her abductors were only satisfied with the negotiations of the ransom before they could allow her go after series of plea from the family.

While she was in their net, the kidnappers were pressing the family with all sorts of threats before they finally reached an agreement on the ransom and she was freed.

Femi Joseph, the spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, confirmed the release of the woman when contacted by our correspondent, it’s true that the woman has regain her freedom, but that does not stop our own investigation. Adding that the officers of Nigerian Police Force Ondo State are currently investigating the case.
